I know that this image has some faults. It was taken in near darkness so it is very noisy[you may not see it, but it's there] and required considerable cloning. However, you must admit, that the subject is not bad. BTW, these are wild animals in deep South Texas.

Isn't that beautiful!!!!!! Thanks for sharing.

Wow, what a shot. I would love to see one and I think my odds of seeing one w/ kittens, here, are greater than hitting the lottery. Gary

Thanks guys for your generous comments. This ranch has quite a few bobcats. I have photographed them there several times. I was there to photograph whitetail deer, large bucks. In one week these cats were the only images that I got, however, I was delighted with this opportunity.

I think it was Bear Bryant that said Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. As an avid outdoorsman I know how elusive bob cats are. . The opportunity presented itself, or you put yourself in a position to get it, and then you knocked it out of the park. If I had three thumbs they would all be up.

What flaws? To get a photo like this has no flaws! Great capture...I can't believe they're looking right at you and not running!
