Lyrics by Shel Silverstein. One of my favourite poets, and the source of the lyrics of a vast majority of Dr. Hook's repertoire.

Another thing. Why do people feel compelled to repost the link of an original post in their reply?

I'm not referring to having it in the "Quote Reply" section.

Typically because the OP has left the "s" after http in the link, making the link innactive on UHH. Often the OP then realizes this and then removes said s.

Edit: Shel Silverstien was a genius, I often read his kids stories to my grandsons.
He also wrote "A boy named Sue" for Johnny Cash.

Cut and paste works for me.

Agreed. Shel was a genius. I've no idea how many times I've hauled garbage bags to the dumpster reciting "Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout".
