Some Nikon D750 digital SLR cameras manufactured in Oct 2014 - Dec 2015 - may not function normally, sometimes resulting in shading of a portion of images. Check your D750 if affected.
I just finish packing mine and ready to be send out in the morning...

While this is great to know and thank you. Why does Nikon not inform the users of the camera? I have sent my Nikon D750 into for two repairs and the only notice I received was here on the hog. If I had not signed up for the hog I would have never known.

The Nikon site asks for your serial number. Once entered, you will be told whether your camera is affected or not.

I sent one camera via UPS this morning, but the camera I bought two weeks later isn't affected. I read last night that nikon has expanded the recall, but my second body still isn't included.

I walked mine into Nikon yesterday, they said it would be about week to repair.

I'm glad to hear that. My new D750 is arriving from B&H tomorrow and I sure hope it doesn't already need a repair. Hopefully it was manufactured after the problem dates.

best is to check if it's affected, if it is then you can decide you want to return for exchange or send it to Nikon...

People who registered their camera on the Nikon web site were notified. I was. Many don't bother as it is not necessary to activate the warranty. Nikon has never actually described the shutter shading problem in detail. On my camera, it was noticeable only in flash pictures, so it may have something to do with a lag in the shutter not getting out of the way completely before the flash goes off.

Funny but I registered my camera with Nikon I always do. But never received any notice. At least of the first two. But on this one I can see why because I was not affected. I checked. Just saying.
