And he now appears to be walking back that answer.

The pope didn't have to answer it. A more Christian thing to do would have been to sidestep it. Instead, the Pope told the world his opinion of DJT, and it wasn't flattering.

So, again: the pope took on Trump. The pope started the fight. Not the other way around.

If I asked you a question about Trump, would you sidestep it? I don't think it is his job to evade questions.

I would not claim I had the authority to judge who was christian and who was not. The pope did. He is a lesser man for it.

By sidestepping, all I am saying is that he might have said he disagrees with walls and likes bridges. That's not insulting nor judgemental to Trump, and he wouldn't have taken him on. He chose to interject himself in American politics, and to make the fight personal, and the pope debased himself by doing it.

“A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not of building bridges, is not Christian. This is not the gospel. As far as what you said about whether I would advise to vote or not to vote, I am not going to get involved in that. I say only that this is man is not Christian if he has said things like that. We must see if he said things in that way and I will give him the benefit of the doubt.”
That is what he said.

Okay. Exactly as I said.

I note, in your previous post, that the only hospital that treats people for free is the public one. Baylor Hospital (Baptist) had revenues of four billion last year, and some salaries went over one million.

Seems reality doesn't comport with your fictions about christians.

Hospitals were started in this country were started by churches to help the poor, prior to that there were no hospitals.

My god, do you think you can just make up history as you go along?

Oh yea. You're "blurry". You make up everything you say.

To make up for leaving school after the first grade, I'll bet. But, hey -

Thanks for playing!

The Pope should keep his ass out of American politics. When the Catholic church starts paying taxes, then he can intrude in our politics. I see the Vatican has a wall around it. I wonder how many Middle Eastern refugees the asshole is willing to accept into the Vatican?

You absolute moron. I love this. From the first page of your cite:

Benjamin Franklin was instrumental in the founding of Pennsylvania Hospital in 1751, the nation's first such institution to treat medical conditions.

Remember, you brain dead sh!t for brains, you said:

I'm wondering if Blurry is a sock puppet of Bunjee. They both have the same exact habbit of making idiotic and asinine false claims that are quickly disproved by even their own articles they post, and then they strut around and claim that they just kicked YOUR ass!

Oh wait. I forgot. That's just an inbred trait of right wingers in general.

You may have something. Maybe all of these right wing morons are the same person. I sure hope so. I'd hate to think there is that much absolute stupidity in this country.
