I bet you cannot contain your pride, and I can't blame you. To have one of your photos made into a banner that will greet millions of people, and to get to lecture as well.....you must be on Cloud 9. I would love to see the other photo that was chosen to be a banner. Oh, and congratulations to you.

Some of you who follow my posts may remember this photo from 2014--so the photo part is a revisiting, but here is the rest of the story about my Exhibit.
The United States Botanical Society, in conjunction with the National Park Service, is opening an Exhibit on the flora of the national parks. The exhibit opens February 18 in Washington D.C. and runs through late October. The exhibit will be traveling later in the year. Two of my photos have been chosen to be reproduced as banners printed on canvas for the entry to the exhibit. In addition I will be speaking on photographing the flora of the National Parks on several dates yet to be announced.
So if you are going to be in D.C. please stop by and see the exhibit.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you enjoy the photo (it will be one of the banners).
