I picked out a few more photos to share with you.
The light it created during this storm really made me understand why this park is called the Valley of fire.
Hope you enjoy it

All beautiful shots. But let's face it, it is hard to compete with a prominent rainbow. The third one is a double WOW!

Things are happening really fast and you have to be react quickly with a storm like this. Most of the time this area is just another sunny day.
Luckily I was there at the right place and time. 10 minutes later and I would have missed the rainbow.

The originals are Raw so I do need some PP done. Besides the regular WB, exposure etc. I did boosted the highlights and reduced the shadows somewhat. Other than that the print came out just the way I saw it. Some panos are stitched (up to 6 shots) what will make it great for a large wall display. Thinking of a metallic print but haven't decided on it yet.

All are terrific photos...great lighting, composition, etc. You may want to consider cropping to avoid having half sky/half land. I would suggest 2/3 sky and 1/3 land. Still, these photos are stunning!!!

REALLY enjoyed those. I'm from WA and have been to the park 3 times, even before it became well known.
