Large 300,000 pixels blew the Canon 190,000 pixel camera away according to the article. Not sure the DxO Mark DR rating is though.

First Nikon prototype 1987 with Panasonic involved. No big fanfare then. Now look where we are 29 years later. I was still shooting my Minolta SRT 101 that year. What about the technology in mirrorless cameras that are gradually sneaking into the market. There are those who say they aren't any good. just as what was thought when this first digital Nikon prototype was released.
