The problem is that while the idea of male boudoir is a good one, the photographer simply transposed the poses from female boudoir (And did it unskillfully) (Her non-boudoir work is much better.) It would have been better if she had a group of female advisors to help her do the poses.

Burt Reynolds did a much better job for Cosmopolitan in 1975... as did Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1977.
