My poor little birds are freezing and fighting the wind. I had to dig out the back door so I could uncover the bird feeder and add more. It's still coming down hard, hopefully tomorrow will be calmer so we can tackle the digging out!!

Hard to shoot through iced up windows....

That second shot sure says it all.

Be careful out there, Angela!

Great capture--I love the soft images--like good ol film. Very brave of you and good luck with digging out. So happy for the bids you could refresh their food.

I mean "birds" instead of "bids"
I hope they get trough the terrible winter storm. Stay safe and warm!

Glad you enjoyed these shots Sylvia and I hope they will take cover over night! Tomorrow I'll be able to give them more food and add another bird feeder since the one we had on a pole, blew off!!

LOL... Argus, I knew exactly what you meant and I didn't even pick up on the "bids"!!
I think the pictures came out soft looking because I was shooting through a window that had lots of frost and snow on the outside, but I really appreciate your visit and so glad you enjoyed these!!

Thanks for the kind words Argus, tomorrow will be the day we dig out, not leaving this house tonight and going to enjoy a nice pot of chicken soup that I made in the pressure cooker!!

Thanks Donna! Shooting through the window as a challenge and I had to put these shots through the wringer so they would look half way decent!

They look more than half way decent. You did a great job. A little tip on shooting through the window, but you probably already know this, Angela. Prop the lens on the glass to get your shot. It gives stability, and in my case, it cuts through the gunk on the window. :-D

I like the sense of drama in the second one.

...and I didn't know that, I actually stood far away from the window. I'll give that a try tomorrow, thanks Donna!

Thanks for the visit chaman, glad you liked! If that little bird was wearing a hat, it would have been gone with the wind!!
