Foggy morning in the French Quarter
Well worth while viewing larger.
That's an early start to the day.
What the shoeshine man does while he waits for customers. It feels like it's early morning, the streets still fairly quiet, fog hanging over the tall building as the shoe shine man sets up. Nice storytelling, Minnie. Your processing is very nice and adds to the historic detail of these beautiful old structures and stone streets.
Taking obvious pride in his work.
Have been in this location more times than I can imagine but have never seen a shoe shine guy there. Fortune tellers, bands, dancers, etc but never a shoe shine guy.
Great image and the PP. What did you use?

Very good! I find it to be very moody. And I like that truck coming down the street.

To be honest Don I don't remember whether it was Silver Efex or Tonality Pro, I use them both within PS so it's hard afterwards to tell which, I'd suspect the latter.
Thanks!
The is very nice!

To All:
Thank you for the comments, glad you enjoyed this one. Street photography is not my "thing" but I do enjoy trying. I think it's good for us to get out of our "genres" sometimes and explore. Street is so different from landscape!

Thanks for the return visit. As someone who doesn't do much street photography, I am curious to know what you liked about it.
