In the fact that I was born in North Saint Louis City, raised in Ferguson, Missouri - I began photography in high school as one of the 3 photographers. We helped each other learn. In that learning we did not go far to find anything to photograph... Ferguson is really a good place to capture images. I still go to Ferguson to get some shots. Have coffee, and eat lunch about one a month.
The people of Ferguson will continue to be strong - they will persevere - and learn together. That is IF the news media will show both sides of the situation in a fair and just manner.

I am part of a group that meets up frequently, most of us are from the Illinois side of the river near Alton and surrounding areas. They have a facebook page. I dont know of any upcoming meetups though, its fun group of people.

I was already to suggest going with me and a friend of mine; But then you said Tue, Wed or Thurs. I work Tues, Wed and Thurs. Join a photography club; not sure where exactly you are located, but Jefferson County Photography Club is a good start, I joined recently and they do photo shoots. Great club.
