They did OK by me when I dealt with them... both for buying and selling. I would deal with them again. Don't expect very much when selling. They seem to sell for just about double what they will pay you. This seems normal, for that sort of business.

Does anyone have some feedback on KEH photo store? I was using B&H to sell some equipment but they didn't seem interested in some of it. So I contacted KEH and they gave me a nice quote. I sent the stuff in and I was wondering if I'm on solid ground.
I've bought some things from them. They charged reasonable prices and delivered.
No personal experience but I have heard nothing but good responses about KEH.

There are some of us who give more than we get.
I just completed a sale of canon camera and lenses. They valued just about what I thought it would be and their check was sent promptly. I would have no reservation doing business with them.
KEH Camera is the gold standard in the used photographic equipment business! That is the first place I look.
When selling in the retail market, the price you generally receive is about one-half the selling price for that item. Selling or buying direct via Craig's List, E-Bay, or setting up a kiosk on a corner, usually ends with a price somewhere between KEH's buy and sell numbers; but the buyer doesn't get the benefit of KEH's evaluating, cleaning, making minor repairs, and guaranty; and the seller loses the assurance of KEH's check and is left to real with any buyer dissatisfaction.
I've not sold any equipment (my wife wishes I would), but I'm very unlikely to buy used from anyone else.

I have had very good experience with them - but don't expect them to buy at retail - they do have to make a profit. I found them to be very prompt and very professional.
I've bought things from KEH, and never had any problems with them. I get more from B&H. I've never sold anything to, or traded in anything, at either place.
Agree with the others.. KEH is rock solid..
Thank You all for your responses All I can say is WOW I never expected so many people would reply. Thanks again

Keep in mind even a reputable store has to make money on what you are selling. This also involves the cost of it sitting on a shelf. Too many people want too much for equipment being sold to a re-seller.
I don't know any photo store that is not in business to make a profit.

Would not stay in business long if they did not.
