Do you do your own printing? In my opinion, images #1 & #4 have great potential.

I haven't printed any of these, but I did make a calendar and I
used two of them on the calendar. #1 and #2.
The green butterfly from the other post is on it too.

I have had pretty good luck using Costco.
A friend of mine recommended Bay Photo, so I
may give them a try.

Do you have any other recommendations?

Nice shots! Next time have the guide throw some dirt in the air for you

Really? Hmm, wouldn't have thought of that.
Most would be afraid of lens/grit issues.

Could be interesting from a distance though.

Thanks for looking, commenting, and the suggestion.

for sure Horseshoe Bend is a must stop and see! I was lucky enough to get some sunset shots there this last time that I was very happy with. My first time to Utah 2011 I had never heard of the Canyons and knew nothing about them. My sister lives in St George and her husband was helping to plan the route my cousin and I would be taking and he suggested Antelope Canyon, but wouldn't tell us anything about it--just said we had to stop there. It blew us away!!!! So AWESOME

Glad you had such a great experience too.
I'm going back in march to try again.
Thank for your input.... I went to the afternoon photographers
session too. They said its the best time... the light when the sun
is directly overhead blows out the colors to much.

The colors and textures are beautiful.

I was in Utah once, but didn't know enough to look for places like this.

I wouldn't overlook the possibility of some black and white conversions.

I think it also makes a difference what time of year you go as to how high the sun is in the sky. Middle of the day is good for the light beams--if the sun is out. The 2 times I saw them it was in April. This last trip was in Nov. and we went to Upper Canyon about 9 am and the colors were amazing and it was a sunny day.

Great idea on the black and white.. thanks.
This is in Arizona, but there may be some in Utah too.

I was there on November 1st. The last photography tour
at 2.30pm. It was fantastic. Hadn't thought of different times
of the year being different.

Thanks for your input. Very interesting.

Incredible captures. It must have taken hours but the time was well spent!

I was there in late June, 10 years ago, took the 2:30 tour. Sunny day, beautiful light beams etc. By 5pm colors were muted because of the angle of the sun putting the canyon in shadows! A great photographers experience. Everything inside needs long exposures on a tripod. Was using a D2X... would love to go back with my D4!

To see beam throw sand into air! ;-)

Magic captures of nature's light show.
I must see this some day.
