Post Your Best Shot of 2015

It's that time again--Christmas is over, the presents opened, visitors come and gone, and the debris cleaned away.

So it's time to review the year coming fast to a close, to see what everyone thinks is their best work.

Post the shot you like best from this year's efforts. Doesn't matter if you've already posted it here, doesn't have to be an award-winner or world-class photo. Might be a candid, might be funny, an abstract, a family member, a pet, a landscape, or a place you love. Don't care if it was done on a cell phone or with a $10K Leica, don't care if it was processed or SOOC. Just the photo that speaks to you most, from all you've done this past year.

Speaking for myself, it's not an easy choice. Picking just one is no simple matter. But let's give it a try.

And if you can't pick just one, I won't yell at you, because I understand the angst it may cause, lol. But do your best.

I'll start with this Thanksgiving Day shot of Eisenheim (the Magnificent), done on a cell phone. I thought the intensity of his expression made this one my best of the year.

So what's yours?

Great shot! and with a cell phone no less, that's amazing. Here's one I took at the Conowingo Dam in November.

OK, this was tough. I finally decided on this one of Mom Osprey feeding The Runt. It's not my best; but it is one of my favorites. I just love osprey!
Enjoy and Merry Christmas a day late.

Here is one of my favorite captures this year. Taken with my Nikon D90 and 18-105 mm lens. This is my favorite lens to use on this camera, and I think you can see from this capture you can see why.
