Hi,
I bought a course from the above url a few days ago and have been watching numerous videos to learn PS CC and now that I finally installed my new Kaspersky virus program it's telling me that
www.adobeknowhow.com is a dangerous url - a phishing site. Does anyone else have any experience/knowledge of this site? I was really beginning to get a handle on PS and now I can't even get in.
Thanks,
Donna
I did a search and do not see any reported problem.
Kapersky reports it as a Phishing site and another as suspicious.
None of the other signal anything.
The cause is likely 'adobe' in the site name.
ref
linkNo customer complaint either.
Something else that might trigger alarms.. Adobe launched a service of the same name.
linkThe mentioned Adobe blog links straight to

Wow! Thanks for all this, Ron. Much appreciated. I'll contact Kaspersky to see how to get around it. It lets me go so far and then blocks it.
Most antivirus programs have a really low bar for phishing attacks that you can usually adjust.
Not sure if this is useful but the URL pings to IP: 23.23.247.38
That IP's ISP (according to DNSSTUFF where I have a paid account) belongs to Amazon.com

Most AV/firewall software will allow for configuration to 'exclude' sites from scrutiny. That may be your answer.

I finally wrote to Kaspersky this morning and heard back an hour ago about how to get around this or any other block I may encounter. I sent them the info above that Ron and Basil gave me.
Thank you all!

Well, welcome to Newark, DE! Adobe Know How not a problem before Kaspersky either. Still haven't been able to fix so I wrote to them again.
