REJ, still nice photos, #2 is defiantly the better of the two. But, I like them both. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful shots, REJ, but I can't identify. Hopefully Doc will see these and help us out.

Sorry Dixiegirl, I wasn't very clear. I was trying to add Docs screen name for REJ to contact if needed.

#1 may be a male Halloween Pennant. Don't know about #2.

Really good shots, REJ, especially the second one. I love their little faces!

Wow REJ these are some really nice shots. Good lighting and detail. Your first is a male Halloween Pennant (Celithemis eponina) and the second would not be an easy one to identify but it's a female Ruby Meadowhawk (Sympetrum rubicundulum).
Coming from your area I can be fairly certain of that. If it were down here it would have to be examined under a microscope as we are having a little controversy over Sympetrum species.
Nice work.

Thank you all for your replies. I think I am better taking photos of Dragons then trying to ID them. REJ.

Females can be tough. To identify that is REJ. You'll get it.
