Son and I got up at 5am and headed out for the Book Cliff area of Utah to look for mule deer on a historic winter range. Turned out to be a rewarding, but long, 500 mile day. The deer were just beginning to show up in numbers and the rut was on. In the last hour of light the deer began pouring out of the draws and sage brush and the camera was clicking...almost 300 photos! Didn't get home until 9 pm and didn't start looking at the images til this am...here are a few from the first pass.
