The lack of of a built-in EVF on the EOS M3 killed its consideration for me.

This is certainly life changing news is it not? I just cannot tell you how much better I have felt about my own life and the lives of those around me since I read this post. I am indeed all a quiver waiting for the answer to who won Gold and Silver.
Great question Mogul. Luv ya sense of humour fella.
Anybody looked on Ebay lately to see if a power seller is retailing lives for those without one?

Merit Recognition Award? That basically means it's a "Nice Try" award. It's like getting an award for "participating" because everyone finally feels sorry for you. Sweeeet! I'm so glad I was sitting down when I read this news because it is truly shocking.

Lets not forget it is a DESIGN award. Has nothing to do with functionality. That said, the Canon lens at least beat out the Ryobi lawnmower!

The Nikon 1 J5 also got a bronze award as did the Fuji XT100 and the Dyson ball....among many other earth shaking designs.
