Now comes the test, does PSE recognize your files?

That is what it is all about. When you get used to using the ACR, you will wonder how you ever got along without it.

You could always pop into the Post Processing section if you need any help.

I had PSE 10. When I started shooting Raw I moved up to PSE 13. When there is a sale, I'll move to 14.

Storage is el-cheapO for old-fassion mechanical 1 tb HD and many are allowed on modern MOBOs. Once a quarter I dump photos into a big file which one can sort by date or prefix for Sony or Canon (right click sort-by). But in another drive I store the chosen and or modified ones by words... Dogs Cats, Clouds, Family, Mushrooms, UHH photos from, etc those are the modified photos of special interest. (even sub folders to show variations of paticular photo) While I may attach a name, e.g. Sally I retain the exposure number SALLY P10702 which allows finding the unmodified file by using search lower left bottom of screen... just above start.

My jump from PSE 10-13 was a worthwhile modernization. Then I added elements plus for $12. Opens many PS abilities.

This thread has me wondering: If I upgrade from PSE 10 to the PSE 14 Editor, am I going to have a hassle with getting the PSE 14 Editor to import my picture files? I generally shoot JPEG but use RAW for special occasions. My Camera is a Canon 60D

I stopped using PSE 10's Organizer some years ago and instead use the Windows Pictures folder for photo storage because the Organizer dumped all my picture files into one huge file organized only by date which is next to useless so I don't plan to use it in 14 either.

When importing to PSE you can use custom file names. Also use tags and face ID, then sort on them in the organizer.

A "Warehouse Coupon" worth $40 is here: http://www.costco.com/warehouse-coupon-offers.html?langId=-1

I presume that means it will be in stock as the disk version. If not, the fine print says the coupon is good for online buying.

Usually the Costco version has some built in links to Costco printing services.
