Panasonic Lumix FZ200 has 52mm thread. Many manufacturers produce filters of this size.

The FZ200 is (IMHO) an excellent bridge camera with a zoom lens that reaches out to 600mm. Leica lens as standard. This model is not the latest so many stores have it at reduced prices. It was introduced at $600 but can be found at $350 and probably lower. I have not checked the price in a while. Very happy with my FZ200.

We've had 3 Fuji Finepix, all with superzoom (though two of those where when 10x was superzoom and my son's current one which has 44x zoom. All have had filter threads or on the older ones a protective hood to which a threaded filter could be attached. Greatly underrated cameras in my opinion. Check out the range here; http://www.fujifilmusa.com/products/digital_cameras/finepix/

The Canon SX50 is an excellent buy and versitile camera for $150 refurbished. My addon kit takes 58 mm filters which is great for me since I had them for year.

I have been looking for a super zoom bridge, but I like to use a polarizing filter. What super zoom bridge cameras have threads on the lens so I can use filters? It seems that most do not.

That is a drawback, but adding threads and allowing room for the lens to withdraw while allowing room for the filter(s) is a consideration for the manufacturer. I know the SX50 came with an adapter to add filters.

My Leica V-Lux Type 114 is quite happy with a CPL. Just don't recall what size.

Panasonic Lumix FZ-70, Has a 60X zoom starting at 20mm wide angle (which is rare). Selling today for $250 and below if you watch for a sale. Circular polarizing filter from them is DMW-LPL55, apparently 55mm.

Be careful with a CPL at focal lengths below 25mm because you might get vignetting if the CPL isn't a thin one.

Yes, the filter size is 55 mm. Also, with FZ70 you can take pictures in RAW and JPEG formats.
BTW, when I used old Tiffen CPL it was no vignetting even at 20 mm

   I use Canon 500D close-up lens on mine for super close up pics. Flash shoe is also present and helpful (absent on many other "bridge" cameras.

I've been using a Canon SX60, but it requires an inexpensive adapter ring.

This may sound peculiar; but the threads on the P900, while they are threads, are peculiar. The one time I tried a filter on it, I had a devil of a time getting it off, and I've read at least one other similar account here on UHH. I called Nikon about this and was told the camera wasn't designed to accept filters. But, still, you can screw a filter on....

It's a riddle wrapped in a mystery.

My bad. Was thinking of type 109. The type 114 is 62mm.
