Very interesting! I'm definitely drawn to the look on the subject's face and curious about what he hears or sees just off camera.

Black & white is far superior here, for me. No bright colors to distract + the paper coffee cup with plastic top is less intrusive :)

I have to agree with Linda. The B&W version is much better in conveying the essence of this image. It brings out the textures and contrasts better to me.
Very well done ryneslat!

Agree with Linda -- VERY interesting. But I'm torn between the B&W, which has a great feel and would normally win for me, and the color, which to me makes the man's face a stronger element. The tones seem so even (is this HDR?) that for me the face in the B&W seems to blend in. Cool portrait either way.

Both are very good but I prefer the color in this case. I think if you processed the B&W with a little more contrast, it would really pop.

I like both versions, but Linda has it right. The B/W is the superior image. Nice work on this.

I usually don't like B/W but in this case it is a winner. B/W-4 Color-0

I hate to disagree with the Pros, but I prefer the color.
Maybe because it's different. This type of B&W is seen all the time. The color version, not so much.
Then again, it's not what we like.. it's what you like that matters.

The color does nice things to the face.
