Purple Iris from Today

I did my usual garden walkabout. I found a purple Iris which I did not know that I had one since this is the first year that it bloomed. It is supposed to bloom twice a year. We shall see.
Anyway I made an amateur mistake. I took too many pix of the same flower while not changing the angle much. It was also pretty windy which can be very annoying.
I also tried using the flash on a couple of shots. I am not too happy with any of them and now they seem to blur together.

I just love the 2nd shot! I think it's the best!!! - the 1st one is pretty good too. :)

I, too, love the purple iris. Also, white irises are striking! Love your photos!

Iris' only bloom once a year.......lucky you this is that year

I like shot #2. I like the flower in focus and the background out of focus. Just makes the flower special.
