Love to go out 4x4in! We used to go with a large group in N. Idaho and now we really need to find a group in Oregon. It's ok to go alone but if something breaks (or worse) it's safer to be with someone else.

I also love trailriding! I have hundreds of pictures but they are all landscape or 'ear' pictures.

In my previous life, I was an entomologist, and now I enjoy writing about nature. I had a running column in the Atlanta Journal and Constitution for almost six years before they shut down their Home and Garden section. Major newspapers are having a very difficult time with the now endless OTHER options available for news. I am now reviving my column for smaller newspapers that concentrate more on local events and human interest columns. THAT'S my interest in photography - to be able to take acceptable photos for the subjects covered in my columns.

I've had a life long affair with the railroad. The hobby has evolved and shaped me into who I am now. From playing with them as a kid, to watching them in my younger teens, now to shooting them as I approach 20. Here a buddy of mine shoots a westbound Canadian Pacific train as it rumbles through Pewaukee, WI at the end of a long, but wonderful day.

I am also into arts and crafts and enjoy making things out of reusable materials such as paper, glass and other materials.
