Hummer in their natural habitat.

Not at a feeder. This lady was up in a tree about 20 ft. away. I am surprised that the photos are still o.k. to look at considering that I enlarged and cropped the hell out of them. My camera is an ASP-C crop sensor type and I was using an 18-250 Sigma zoom lens.

They don't seen to sit that still around here, or maybe its just me.

Thanks! They don't sit still very long here either. Lately though, I have noticed them taking a breather on the branches and even on the feeder poles themselves. Usually, it is some female that darts out of nowhere and drives them away, otherwise, they probably sit just a little longer.
