We were at Tyler State Park and saw these beautiful birds making a racket up in the rafters of a pavillion. They had brilliantly red throats, white breasts, and kind of flat beaks. Does anyone know what kind of birds they are? I only have a point and shoot, and zoomes all 4X of it's ability! :)

Where's their white breast? And very red throats? Were the ones we saw babies? Do they change color when they get older? Thanks for your help!

I think the ones you saw were adults. Here are a couple more pictures.

They sure have the right coloring! They were really tiny, though. Wish I'd had a better camera! :(
