Some shots from the last few days in B&W

I ran a roll through my new-to-me Minolta SRT-101 just to test it so that I could know if it was a return or not.

I used Kentmere 400 shot at 400 and developed in HC-110 at 68 deg for 5 minutes in the Rondinax 35U.

My wife used to make fun of me taking pictures of my food but I caught her doing it at Burger King...I HAD to snap a photo. It's blurry but that's the way it goes.

Great shots--I used a Minolta SRT202 and SRT101 during all my film life and shot tons of b/w. I loved Kodak's Panatomic x asa32 but I like Plus X and T-Max now. I have other larger format cameras also and shot a lot of Kodachrome's with my Minolta's. Good buy--have fun.

Thanks you two...I'm just the opposite; this is all new to me. I'm a digital shooter with no (or very little (background shooting film.

And just for reference, here is the shot of the food that she took. It's one of the rolls I developed yesterday.

She did a pretty good job! :)

I started using film as many did. I pursued a minor in Photography at Cal State Fullerton; used to develop the film, do contact sheets, and print and develop photos, using all the liquids you needed in the school's darkroom. Lots of fun and I've been thinking to doing it again with my own darkroom. But instead of 35mm I want to do medium format work. Good job.
