Montana's state capitol is located in Helena. The building was completed in 1902 with wing-annexes added by 1912. I took an evening to explore the outside and then went inside to photo the interior rotunda.

Way-to-Go Dennis, you probably know I'm a big fan of capitol buildings and courthouses. Glad you shared this set. For me, it's fun to see the places where our governments function even if they're disfunctional...I love the buildings. Great Job, on a super State House. The rotunda is awesome.

We try to visit capital buildings in each state we visit and have made several. We have quite a few to go but have enjoyed the ones we visited and just toured capitals in New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island last month. Thanks for the post.
