It's not like I knew this one. I thought it was one of a number of tiny cars made in Germany in the 50s and 60s.
I did a quick search and hit this link....there she was

Your photos are very good. Between the people and the way the cars are jammed together it is hard to get good shots at these shows. You did a fine job!

Good call. I was close with NSU.
My 60 year old memory battery is low. It sometimes needs a jump.
My first car was a '57 Renault Dauphine.

Believe me....I did not pull that car out of my vast memory
:D

I did a google search for "old small german cars", found a website for the "tiniest, cutest cars ever made and this one was on the list.

I was also thinking NSU or DKW or Glas Goggomobil

I knew I was in the ballpark. There were so many of those one hit wonders back then.
It was an early import because it was left-hand drive.
I was not sure of its linage because England made some God Awful things back then as well.

Some of the English sports cars had to qualify as among the most unreliable vehicles ever made. Fun to drive when you could get them to run.
