Friday morning, I left my home at about 5:15 to meet my brother for a morning at this beautiful park. It opens at sunrise and even with a stop for coffee and other necessities, we arrived early.
I've never been there, but my brother has as he works nearby. Word was that there were hummingbirds to be found there and I want to see and photograph some. None were found, but a variety of other wildlife was visible.
The skies varied from cloudy to sunny, but mostly enough clouds to make most areas less than brightly lit.
I started out with about 275 images which I have whittled down to 21 to post. I will divide them up into groups of 7, the first set today and the balance over the next 2 days.
I hope that you enjoy - critiques are welcome as always.
Thanks for looking in.
Interesting series of photographs and you obviously had a good time there.
I particularly like the photographs of the "Lubber"
Well taken.

Thank you Leicaflex for looking in and commenting.
Those lubbers are certainly unusual looking critters. They look like something drawn for a sci-fi movie.
Very nice series. Looking forward to the next installment.
