all the institutions are allowing printing to take the place of cursive. Some official documents still require cursive and if printing is used, a notary is called for. My grandson is 19 years old and back in the 3rd grade, they stopped teaching cursive. One day, I handed him my written directions to a place I was driving him and asked him to read them to me on the way...he was totally unable. How very sad.
I guess the moral of this story is to not take checks.

you can take the checks (cheques here) and deposit them in the ABM with your bank card, no need to sign them, they are processed and credited to your account whether you endorsed them or not.
but i would still like all of our grand kids and the generations after that to be able to write (cursive) and read!!!!!
The problem is the jokers that run and decide for the system. Like in Washington, we reelected them and we complain. Makes sense to me.
