In the Hogworld you usually have to descend a long way to get to the attic, however that doesn't mean you can't fall...

Except when it doesn't, of course! Microsoft has done a much better job with Windows 10 than Apple has with iOS 8, and I'm a dedicated iPhone user...
Perhaps you should put your comments on the various Yosemite or El Capitan discussions....
You were referring to running W10 on a Mac weren't you? :D

Gosh, Windows 10 is even more versatile than advertised!

There is more to the computer than WiFi with cameras... I think you must be talking about WiFi?? Edit programs? What?
In standard UHH mode, you have made a vague statement with no detail. What on earth are you talking about... did you try W-10 or did you get the info at the local bar at 2AM after drinking local distilled all-white lightening, or worse yet from a local Baptist Church as part of justification for the 2nd coming !! W-10 may be an indicator of "end times" but not of the world.. just Microsoft. Free as atonement for W-Me, Vista and the termination of XP.

If your claim is that one cannot connect and collect pictures from cameras when the connected computer is running Windows 10; extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof of which you have provided none. Your post is a lie, more so than the cake.
However, if you mean that Windows 10 won't run on most cameras you are correct. However, neither did Windows 8, 7, XP, ME, 98, 95, 3.1, and 3.0 work with cameras. Thus, your point is superfluous and not well thought out.
Interestingly, at least one derivative of Linux has been created which runs on a few cameras.

Excepting W7 and now W10, of course!

My windows 7 still gets updates. As far as snide comments on the site goes, there appear to be several people on UHH who are legends in their own mind and we saw an example of one of them with his 2 AM bar gibberish. I am sorry to say he resides in my State.
My Windows 7 is doing just fine with updates, etc. Haven't decided to pull the plug on windows 10, maybe I'll do my laptop to see what it's all about....
I've come to the conclusion that maybe the "living legends" and snide commenters have come over from that "other" site.... DP something..... Over there you're almost afraid to ask a simple question or make a comment.
There must be a financial reason but my Windows 10 still doesn't read DNG files.
Why are you shouting, I suppose you must the sort of insignificant type who needs to shout create a presence
I have Windows 10 now on 4 PC's and everything work perfectly, all my cameras still work, my phone works, my tablet works, my smart TV works, my bank card works, my lawn mower is as good as ever, and my car, although it's French, still runs as good as new.
Finally, I always cook the Sunday dinner, and the oven came on and the aroma of roast pork is mouth watering.
And, I am responding to your stupid post on a laptop with Windows 10 !!

Windows 10 is the best OS to date.
Even better than iOS X Mavericks from Apple
