Thanks Horesart and WVHillybilly. I googled both Siberian and Japanese Iris. Neither of those were yellow. They were both purple.

Yes, they both come in several colors. The Iris Festival Greenhouses and Nurseries in Paris, Tn say this one is Siberian. I have them in my yard and will transfer some to my Koi pond right away. The Japanese Iris they have there have some flat, puffed, overlapping petals on top.
Don't know how correct they are or are not, but that's what they sell them for. Other nurseries here sell them as Siberian also. What do I know???

In my book it's beautiful what ever you call it.

Yes, it is. Here is the Japanese Iris and the yellow one looks very near, almost exactly, almost to perfection, nearly,
sort, kinda, like the Siberian, so everybody wins because
they are so gorgeous. Forgot to say GOOD SHOT!!!!

Hahahahahahahaha! I forgot to add the link to the Google images for the Japanese Iris, but the other link was too long for the page anyway and made it too wide, so I cut it in half. I guess one has to copy and paste it into a browser.
Here's the Japanese. You are fortunate to have either or both.

It is an Iris. It needs to be cropped in on the sides and the brightness toned down a bit. If you can make the background way darker, this would help. Then let us see. But as it is right now, it doesn't really stand out. It is a good snapshot though.

I'll try your suggestions and see what I get. Thanks.

How's this?

better but pay attention to details - like pesky highlights left of subject
