FYI for you old film-farts:

I'm going to develop in a monobath solution from New55.

I have one bottle and until that's used up, that's my M.O.

Here is some info:

That is different and interesting. Never tried anything other than the "standard" Kodak D-76 or HC-110 Developer, then Stop Bath, Kodak Fixer or Rapid Fix, Wash. Used a few different brands as well, but never a monobath. Vaguely heard of it years ago.

I guess you can let us all know how your film turns out.

I have a darkroom but no gear

Sadly, too far away. You're in NZ and I'm in the USA (California). I actually have enough darkroom equipment for two darkroom set ups. :?

I have Beseler, Omega, and Pentax. Two 4x5" enlargers, Beseler and Omega, an Omega view camera, and six Pentax cameras. And an assortment of other nearly antique 35mm and 4x5" cameras. Schneider and Nikon view camera and enlarging lenses. But alas no darkroom! :-( So 98% digital today.

Nice assortment!
Some of us need to get together and share what we do have.
I can log in from home and access my work desktop.
Is there such a thing as "virtual dark-room"?

Where is "Bandini?".

I should have said, "What is Bandini?".
I went on Google and I found out :D
Enjoy your camera!. I recently started to use my old banged up M42 purchased in 1978. The good thing about film is it slows you down.

Now if we could only get Kodachrome back.

And Plus-x. :-(

Plus X and K64 were my favorites, although I did like Agfachrome too.

She uses Beseler & Canon, I prefer Omega and Nikon, but we still get along!

Guess I'm a mongrel - Pentax and Beseler for me.

Beautiful, the Rolls Royce of film rangefinders. When the M3 came out, I bought it with a range of lenses (Leica, of course) and other Leitz accessories. I was happy as a clam until I got married, had a baby, no job and dr's bills for such. I ended up selling my entire Leica equipment to pay for my newborn (whom I should have named "Leica"), but my wife insisted on the name Erica). I have never been able to afford another Leica as they got increasingly expensive, so settled for a variety of Japanese cameras over the years. Am now using a digital Nikon but do not do a lot of camera work anymore - just hit-or-miss snapshot photography - sigh! Enjoy, and become really familiar with this jewel and sell your house or wife to an Arab before you part with this. (That is a tongue-in-cheek comment in case you took me literally)

Wow...very excited.

I'm at work so I can't mess around too much but so far..I'm very impressed.

I'm so used to digital that I wondered where the batteries and charger were!

I'm all loaded up with Tri-X and hope to have something developed in a day or two.

now the real fun begins. the 28mm asph, from the looks of things, is very nice. there are lot of comments in re: the 35mm pre-asph and asph. i've the asph and am pleased with it along with my 50mm summilux.
the m6 is an excellent body and will last forever. good luck!!!
