In the Navy in 60's, aboard ship, I was on, you were told to take no more than about 5 minutes to shower. Wet down, turn off, soap up, turn back on to soak and dry off. We had a machine that could make salt water good for showers and potable for cooking.

But don't do this in Colorado, NM, Utah, this week.
???????????????????????????????????????????????

The "machine" you're talking about is called an evaporator that boils sea water and condenses the steam under a vacuum to distilled water. I ran one on a Destroyer during WWII. FYI distilled water has no flavor and leaves your mouth with a dry feeling, always thirsty!

Droughts are making Central CA sink down a foot. Ground water is disappearing.

By 2100 Mexico City would become a sink hole.

OOPS!
