There probably is no such thing as a "best camera", Pete.

There is a "best camera for you" however. It is the one you know the best and feel the most comfortable with. And as such, you will get your "best pictures" with it!

Because it's what I shoot. Now if I had Canon/Olympus/Sony/ etc. I'd be taking exception to your thread title.
