Let's just say I screwed up after I bought a Nikon 18-300mm lens and I bought the wrong lens hood. If anyone in the lower 48 would like to have a FREE HB-58 lens hood, PM me and I will mail it to you free. Yes, I will pay the postage. If you are living anywhere in the world, PM me and we will work out the postage. The hood is no charge.Thanks

Based on the Nikon web site, that is the correct lens hood for your lens.

There are two Nikon 18-300mm. My lens is the Nikon 18-300mm f3.5-6.3 and the lens hood is HB-39. The lens hood I am giving away is for the Nikon 18-300mm f3.5-5.6, which is the HB-58.
