Mourning death of spouse described in a wooden sculpture

I was going through my old folders when I found this photo which I took in 2007. I saw this wooden sculpture somewhere in Vermont. When I looked at this sculpture, I could not believe that an artist can show such moments of grief, anger and complain through the wooden sculpture. There was so much detail in the bodies of the deceased and the person holding her. I thought that let me share with our members.
