Hmmm, where in FL? I lived in Sunrise, moved to Boynton Beach, then to Lake Worth, then to Sarasota, now in Valley View, PA, planning to move to Suffolk County, NY. I guess they don't call me LadyTravel for nothing :)

Clubs are a GREAT way to learn - and the level you are at is not important - that's what makes clubs fun. A chance to share and learn with fellow photogs and opportunities to go on field trips, seminars, etc.

Don't know if this is close to your area of town, but there is a St. Louis Camera Club..... http://www.stlcameraclub.com/

I checked out the link and the SLCC had a kink to the Collinsville CC, which is about 1/3 or 1/2 the distance from me (I live in IL and I work once or twice a month just down the same street as where they meet) and they cost 1/2 as much....a nice combination in my book! I e-mailed the club and hopefully I'll make it to the next meeting. ;)

I hope that if anybody is in Yosemite this summer they will look me up at the Mariposa grove of giant Sequoias. I'll be there driving the open air trams giving tours. Just ask for John

Yes, I have become aquatinted with a few and one where we were going to get together for a day of photo shooting next week
when I go to Yosemite; however, it turns out he may not be able to make it after all.

I have a thread in the info section titled "Yosemite" to find anyone going there at the same time and would like to meet and do some shooting together.

I plan on going to the park a few more times this year and thought it might be nice to make plans in advance for small meet-up group; that is if anyone is interested.

I'm in Green Bay and am working in Clintonville, so were kind of close, 90 minutes or so, is there anything to shoot in Wausau other than that darn hill,LOL

I'll be in Winter Haven Florida on Monday for the rest of the week if anyone in the area wants to get together we may go to the beach one day also, on the gulf side.

Hey, I'm always willing to meet someone who is close or while they or I are traveling. If your in the neighborhood, give us a shout!
I also belong to a group on LI where we go to different locations and shoot.
