While I think Snopes is a decent reference, I am also in sympathy with the goals of the "Tea Party" as outlined in their websites: "Personal Freedom, Economic Freedom, and a debt free future". There are certainly crazys who claim to be "tea partiers". There are also crazys who claim to be Democrats. Some of these are even in Congress. I submit that the majority of "zombies" in our society today are those addicted to public handouts over the years by the Democrats.

There's enough doubt surrounding the story for me to not believe it's from C.E. However, the content is interesting.
I expect the part about Obama was added in by someone other than Eastwood, although his dislike of the President is known.

Clint is not known for going public with statements like that. One minute he's talking about his twilight years, and the next about guns and Obama. Nice try.

Not the biggest Obama fan, either, but it seems that were he SUCH a moron, and SO ineffectual, that the GOP would have found it child's play to trounce him in 2012. Did I miss something, or is he still in office? I'll vote for a Republican whom I think is honest, intelligent, good for the country, and not beholden to the fringes of the party. Still waiting.
