You all may have heard of "Manhattanhenge", which is the astronomical alignment of the sun, usually sunset, with the cross streets on Manhattan, New York. You can keep Manhattanhenge. Here in Rockaway Beach, NY, this morning, the sun rose precisely at the end of Cronston Ave. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you "ROCKHENGE".

edgorm, Very nice timing and photo. We used to live on the north shore; it was the wrong side to see the sun rising over the water.
