Follow-Up to Car Hacking Problem

Yesterday I posted an article about the ease with which two hackers took total control of a Jeep. They were doing it with the knowledge of the driver as a demonstration of how easily it could be done. Now Chrysler has recalled over a million cars, although it says it knows of no such incidents, aside from the "media demonstration." There was a big story on the news just now.

Did you read the article about the passenger who temporarily took control of an airliner? I posted that a month or so ago.

Conspiracy theorists would say that the reason the ability exists is so the Gov. can shut down our vehicles whenever they want. Cash for clunkers got rid of lots of cars that the Gov. did not have the ability to do that to.

The aliens are the good guys. No need to worry. The fact is, they can shut down ALL the cars.
