Wow, I can't decide if it's futuristic or just plain ugly but having been a truck driver at one point in my life, I do see serious issues with visibility from that cab.
Fortunately for the people at large, Walmart drivers must have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience and 300,000 miles under their belts to be considered for employment so I'm sure they will figure out how to back of 70' of blind spot. :shock:

Wouldn't the trickers have to be retrained to drive from the center of the cab, not the left (or right for you "wrong-side" drivers) ? We all probably learned how to collobrate our eyes to use the left (or wrong) side of the lines on the multi-lane roads or the shoulders of the road as guides to keep our vehicles centered.
Just a thought.... I can be done of course. However, in an emergency we revert to our previous levels of training.

As a driver of over 40 years and still actively driving I would not give 2 nickels for it, maybe visibility is better than it appears and oh yes it is most certainly futuristic.
