One can only imagine what dark gods this plutonium-infused hibiscus of Martian's is calling upon, and for what...
Of course, it might just be asking for pleasant temps and plenty of sunshine.
Beautiful. One is drawn to the core, wanting to peer in with the hopes of obtaining a glimpse of just one answer to the many riddles. But alas the force causes one to withdraw or be brought in.
Beautiful image, Randy. This reminds me of the scene in Close Encounters when the door of the spaceship opened and the slender and graceful alien walked down the ramp. The thing I enjoy the most about your images is the way they draw upon my imagination. Well done as usual.

Thanks, Matt. Martian's flowers have sucked me in before, but an apt and insightful description of what's going on here, thank you. One wants to always stay above the event horizon, good point.
Thanks for your kind comments and visit, I always much appreciate them!

Thanks, John. The Close Encounters thing isn't a bad analogy here. And I'm glad the images make you stretch your mental legs, as they're designed to do. I take that as a compliment. Good or bad, I think that makes them successful.
Thanks as always for your visit and kind words. I very much appreciate them!

Thanks, Ron. Fun to see what you can do with a hibiscus, lol. But 'Escape from a Black Hole' was my alternate title for this one, so you're right on the money.
Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks as always for your visit and all those thumbs! Very much appreciate them!

LOL!!! Thanks, Angler. Gotta be careful around that plutonium, it screws with the mind. ; )
And I'm afraid I long ago 'went doolally,' lol!
Martian, of course, altho he walks through the Valley of the Shadow of Death all the time, also fears no evil, for he is the meanest s.o.b. in the Valley. : )
Thanks for your comments, I'm still laughing!
Stunning work, Randy! Quite mesmerizing in colors and composition. I think it's perfect!

Thanks, Linda. They can always be improved, lol. But thanks for that, and glad you liked it.
I find the shapes in the hibiscus flowers fascinating, so many different images and ideas can form in your mind by looking at the swirls and ruffles of the petals and the central stalk.
Thanks as always for your visit and kind words, I do appreciate them!

Thanks, Johnny. Appreciate that. And three thumbs is way better than one finger, as I've received that on occasion for some of my less successful images, lol.
Glad you enjoyed this one, and thanks as always for your visit!
what a beautiful shot! :)
