When setting up to shoot the fireworks on the 4th, I chose my position very carefully. It was still daylight, and cloudy too, but I was hoping for a celestial boost to the photos.
Those taken early in the night, before the gunpowder smoke obliterated them, included our favourite 2 planets! I thought that added a little something...
