Not a technically nor aesthetically special photo but the place is interesting.
This is the Soo Locks on the St. Mary River in Sault Ste Marie. I am on a 1000 foot bulk cargo carrier going from Lake Huron to Lake Superior. The ship barely fits into the largest lock.
Taken with a Nikon CoolPix AW120, handheld leaning on a railing. 1/4 second, ISO 800, f 2.8.
The time was about 2 AM.

Cool. Not near as many ships through there these days compared with times past.
1953 era I was Deckwatch on James E Ferris - straight deck... Going from Lake Michigan to Lake Superior in August... we were in line for 22 hrs. one time.... We cruised at 1/2 speed from Indiana to the locks... then made circles 'till it was OK for us to pass thru...
I got off at the boat at Su St Marie on return trip.
Better things to do than go in circles....
Nice shot Jim. Used to work at a bulk transfer terminal on the lower Mississippi River. Located about 75 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. Usually we handled Panamax size vessels, about 750 feet in length.
Enjoyed the image.

Very good, interesting shot, Jim!

Loc: Close to the middle of nowhere.
Great photo. I enjoy looking at the night photos taken by others.
