So I stuck 20mm of ext. tube between my Sigma 70mm macro lens and Kenko 2X TC and went for the max. Its a bit more than 2:1 but how much I dont know. Bob

Quickest way to check magnification is to take a picture of a metric ruler with 0.1mm increments. Even with 1mm increments you can get a good estimate.

Its about 2.5:1 magnification. 9.5-mm fills the frame. Not worth using the ext. tube as it really cut into my working distance. Its a good thing this guy was chilly. lol! Bob
