Shame on you taff! Think of all the people you will be leaving behind to gum their way through life alone.
I wish you much happiness in your retirement. Enjoy every moment, one click at a time.

Congratulations, Doc! Enjoy yourself - you've earned it. Hobbies, friends and family, some volunteer work or just some well deserved loafing for a while. Perhaps teaching a course at a local community college will fill some of your spare time. Be sure to post pictures and have a ball.
a good dog then could be a blessing , he could become your picture taking buddy .
I have to 'ditto' those previous comments, and wish you well.
My wife and are both the same age, so we retired about eleven years ago. We love the ability to go on short or long trips basically whenever our hearts desire.
One of the things that tends to stick in my mind is that it took a while to realize that we didn't have to wait for weekends anymore in order to go somewhere and do something.
Hope you can enjoy your retirement and get to do those things you desire.

Well done and enjoy! You will soon wonder how you ever had time to work.

Enjoy your "free" time. I was a CPA and CFA. I retired in January. My husband worked on Wall ST. and retired two years ago. He is still getting used to my "free" time. Poor dear.
