it's 7 oclock in the evening,, little grass fires are breaking out, around the Bay Area,,, and it's still over 100 degrees, in some places,,on top of the worst drought Calif. has ever recorded,,,,, it's going to be a long hot summer !!!! i should go back to alaska.

I think Alaska is a beautiful state. I'm assuming a job offer brought you to California. They sure have had trouble in California with the fires and drought. The temperatures are terrible. I hope you get some rain soon and everyone can breath a sigh of relief. I, for one, would love to spend time in Alaska. Not a week or two but several months so I could experience the beauty of the state.

As I read this, I'm sitting one hour out of San Francisco and it's been sprinkling on and off since about 11 p.m. last night and it's only gonig to be 84 degrees. Only enough rain to make the street damp (not wet) and tomorrow they are saying it will be back up to 101. Monday was 105. This is ridiculous. I don't mind the rain but the heat has to go!

As i reply,, i am about an hour north of San Francisco,, i just got back from taking my dog for a long walk,, and yes, it's humid, hot,,, and moist!! i love the rain, but this heat has got to go !!!! you are soooo right.
