That is very nice. I like the sky and the detail in the cactus. Well done.

Absolutely magnificent! What a majestic plant that is. Such beauty in such a harsh, unforgiving environment. And your stunning picture perfectly reflects all those characteristics I have mentioned.

Very nice. I have four old, large Saguaros in my back yard here in the Phoenix metro.

The funniest story I love to tell about these giants is that in a John Wayne movie he talks about the "Great State of Texas" with Saguaro cactus in the background. These beautiful giants don't live in Texas, only in the south west and then only a small area from Arizona to Mexico. The movie was shot at Old Tucson - a tourist stop and movie set.

Very nice.

When you have a strong backlighting situation, you should try taking your photo with a flash at partial strength. This will provide illumination of the subject cactus to give it improved detail and color.

The alternative is to make the cactus fully into a silhouette.

Both effects are dramatic.
