Our cat Sweet Pea likes to rest on the fancy cover my wife Sue made for her 1941 Singer Feather Weight Sewing machine on the table. Cats are strange, it can't be comfy at all.

Your cat looks a little like the one I had for 21 years. I just had to put him down because his kidneys were giving out. He had a good life for 19 of those years but the last 2 years I tried to keep him as comfortable as possible since he had trouble grooming himself, was completely deaf and probably had diabetes. But he's resting in peace now.

If you have not already, you may wish to read "The Rainbow Bridge" by Adrian Raeside.
It is a wonderful book about pets and their humans. Especially appropriate if you have recently lost a pet loved one.
